This comprehensive 16-hour training class objective is to give the participant a knowledge base on storm water pollution, regulations, and best management practices (BMPs). The course will include potential storm water pollution sources and effects associated with construction activity.

Flagging Certification Course

Course Objectives: 

At the end of this training, participants will be able to:

1. Demonstrate how much they know about flagging procedures;

2. Understand the importance of proper signing;

3. Understand the importance of flagger positioning;

4. Understand the component parts of a temporary traffic control zone;

5. Understand the importance of a proper dress code and use of high visibility clothing required;

6. Explain the proper use of flagger tools and signaling for stopping, slowing, and releasing traffic;

7. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the hazards of traffic control;

8. Demonstrate knowledge of the hazards of night time flagging;

9. Understand how to communicate with the motoring public.
