This course presents an overview of the OSHA Act, Federal and State OSHA Standards, hazard communication standard, chemical safety, industrial hygiene, PPE, confined spaces, walking & working surfaces, scaffolds and ladders, fall protection, powered lifts and platforms, powered industrial trucks, basic hoisting and rigging, fire protection, welding safety and electrical safety.

Project Management for the Contractor Seminar

Attend this proactive seminar to explore the valuable discipline of project management

The training session will cover project management knowledge areas and processes and the “triple-constraint model.” Additionally, the sustained management report will be reviewed along with building trust between the project management “partners.”

The session will also explore “quality” management issues and look at the project from both a strategic and tactical approach. The work breakdown structure (WBS) will also be examined along with the related “critical path.”

During the seminar, we will also discuss the ROI, NPV, IRR, and Payback methods of analyzing a project along with the “earned value management” model. Risk analysis and project “portfolio” management will also be explored.

The OSHA 30-hour Construction Industry Outreach Training course is a comprehensive safety program designed for anyone involved in the construction industry. Specifically devised for safety directors, foremen, and field supervisors; the program provides complete information on OSHA compliance issues.

Each student will receive a copy of 29 CFR OSHA Standards for the Construction Industry Manual.

CLASS WILL BE PRESENTED IN ENGLISH ONLY. (Student must read, write and understand English)
