Construction Career Day

Construction Career Day

Construction Career Day is about introducing high school students to careers in the construction industry and construction-related fields. This includes the trades, construction management, engineering, architecture and related secondary fields such as accounting, marketing and facilities management. This annual event is designed to educate our youth about a professional industry that is exciting, lucrative and fill of prospects for career development. This one-day event will allow students to see demonstrations of different types of construction machinery, participate in workshops and join construction professionals to learn from their interactive displays. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about internships, apprenticeship programs and higher education opportunities.

Over 1,000 CCSD students will be present for the 2017 Construction Career Day! This year we will be opening it up as a career fair to UNLV students as well. This is a perfect opportunity to host interviews for internships or jobs. These students are the future of the industry and recruiting is vital. Our goal is to get over 100 vendors in participation. We would love your support!

The registration deadline for exhibitors and sponsors is October 9, 2017.
