The Nevada Contractors Association is dedicated to promoting the construction industry and all the wonderful careers within it. As the industry is booming but is also experiencing a shortage of workers, the NCA has started several initiatives to educate local students, teachers, and parents on what the industry has to offer, and the infinite available career opportunities within it!
Construction has so many different components, and we believe that there is a fit for everyone!
Each child is unique in their own way; some enjoy being on a computer, some enjoy more active tasks, and some enjoy a combination of both! From the office side of things (estimators, architects, marketing directors etc.) to the hands-on work (laborers, carpenters, equipment operators etc.), and everything in-between (construction managers, surveyors, sales representatives etc.). Even if they are not yet aware of it, the construction industry can offer lucrative careers with a plethora of different responsibilities and types of tasks to fit each unique persons interests!
